At Born and Raised, we aim to deliver your jewellery quickly and safely. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered.

UK Shipping Policy

Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–3 working days.


Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next working day.

Custom or made-to-order items may take longer to dispatch. This will be clearly stated on the product page.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors outside our control, including courier delays, weather conditions, or strikes.

Delivery Address

Please ensure your delivery address is correct at checkout.
We are not responsible for parcels delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

Tracking

Some delivery services include tracking. If tracking is available, you will receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Packaging

All jewellery is securely packaged using protective materials to prevent damage in transit.


If your package arrives damaged, please take photos and contact us immediately.

If your parcel has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please:

  1. Check your tracking details (if provided)

  2. Check with neighbours or your local delivery office

  3. Contact us at iain@bornandraisedayrshire.com 

If the courier confirms your parcel is lost, we will offer a replacement or refund.

Lost or Delayed Parcels

International Shipping Policy

Born and Raised offers international shipping to selected countries. This section explains international delivery times, costs, and customer responsibilities.

We currently ship to:

  • Europe (EU & EEA)

  • USA & Canada

  • Australia & New Zealand

  • Selected countries in Asia

  • Europe: 5–10 working days

  • USA & Canada: 7–14 working days

  • Australia & New Zealand: 10–20 working days

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, parcel size, weight, and delivery method selected.

Customs, Taxes & Import Fees

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import charges applied by their country.


These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.

We cannot estimate customs fees, and customs processing may delay delivery.


If customs charges are refused, the parcel may be returned or destroyed, and refunds cannot be issued.

Tracking

Most international orders include tracking. Tracking details will be emailed once your order has been dispatched.

Lost or Delayed International Parcels

If your order is delayed, please:

  1. Check tracking information

  2. Contact your local customs office

  3. Contact your local postal service

  4. Email iain@bornandraisedayrshire.com

 

If the courier confirms the parcel is lost, we will offer a replacement or refund.

Returns for International Orders

International customers may return eligible items within 14 days of receiving their order.


Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.

Prohibited Items & Restrictions

Some countries restrict the import of jewellery, gemstones, or precious metals.


If your country prohibits these items, we cannot ship to you. Please check your local customs regulations before ordering.
