We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from Born and Raised.
If you are not satisfied, this Refund & Returns Policy explains your rights and how to return an item.

This policy complies with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013).

1. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

For most online purchases, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item.

To cancel your order during this period, please email:

You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.

2. Items Not Eligible for Return

For hygiene, safety, and practicality, the following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Earrings

  • Custom-made, personalised, engraved, or altered items

  • Items made to your specific design or sizing

All other items are eligible as long as they meet the return conditions.

3. Return Conditions

Returned items must be:

  • Unworn

  • In their original packaging

  • In the same condition in which you received them

  • Free of damage, scratches, or signs of wear (unless faulty)

If an item is returned used, damaged, or missing components, we may reduce the refund amount.

4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives:

  • Faulty

  • Damaged

  • Not what you ordered

Please contact us within 30 days with a description and, if possible, photos.

You can choose:

  • A replacement

  • A repair (if applicable)

  • A full refund

Return postage will be covered by Born and Raised for confirmed faulty items.

5. How to Return an Item

  1. Email us at iain@bornandraisedayrshire.com with your order details.

  2. We will provide return instructions and the return address.

  3. Package the item securely to prevent damage in transit.

  4. Send using a tracked or signed-for service (recommended).

Please note:
Customers are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty.

6. Refund Processing Time

Once we receive your returned item:

  • We will inspect it within 5 working days.

  • Refunds will be issued within 14 days of approval.

  • Refunds are made to the original payment method (PayPal, card, etc).

Shipping costs (original delivery fee) are refunded only if the entire order is cancelled under the 14-day cooling-off period.

7. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item (e.g., for a different size or colour), please contact us.
Exchanges depend on stock availability.
Customers may be responsible for additional postage costs unless the original item was faulty.

8. Non-Arrival of Goods

If your parcel has not arrived within the expected delivery window:

  • We will assist you in locating the parcel through the courier

  • If the item is lost, we will issue a replacement or refund once the courier confirms loss
