These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through the Born and Raised website.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. Products
All products are handmade, so natural variations in materials, colour, and finish may occur.
Product images and descriptions are provided for guidance only and may vary slightly from the final product.
3. OrderingWhen you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase products.
We will send you:
- An order confirmation email
-A dispatch confirmation email when your order has been shipped
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for reasons including stock availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
4. Prices & Payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering
We accept secure payments via PayPal and card payment providers
We do not store your payment card details
5. Delivery
Delivery Times
We aim to dispatch orders within 1–3 working days.
Estimated delivery times:
Standard UK delivery: 2–5 working days
Express delivery (if offered): 1–2 working days
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Delivery Address
You are responsible for providing the correct delivery address.
We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by you.
6. Your Right to Cancel (Distance Selling Regulations)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us by email at iain@bornandraisedayrshire.com within 14 days of receiving your order.
You must then return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation.
7. Returns & Refunds
Return Conditions
Returned items must be:
- Unworn and unusedIn their original packagingIn resellable condition (unless faulty shown)
Return Postage
You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Refunds
We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the original payment method.
Original delivery charges will be refunded (except for any express delivery upgrade).
8. Exceptions to the Right to Cancel
The 14-day cancellation right does not apply to:
- Custom or personalised jewelleryEarrings (for hygiene reasons), unless faultyItems that have been worn or damaged after delivery
9. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If an item is faulty or incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of receipt.
We will offer a replacement or refund and cover return postage costs.
10. Liability
We are not responsible for:
- Allergic reactions to jewellery materials
- Damage caused by misuse or normal wear and tearIndirect or consequential losses
Our liability is limited to the price paid for the product.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website (images, text, branding) is owned by Born and Raised.
You may not copy or reproduce any content without written permission.
12. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
The version in force at the time you place your order will apply.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
